In partnership with Adonai International and Physicians Aiding Physicians Abroad, Global Samaritan Resources is supplying a new surgical hospital in Canilla, Guatemala.
We are sending a team of three, including Global Samaritan’s Esther Kissell, Director of Logistics and Disaster Services and Trish Trueblood, a Nurse Practitioner and Global Samaritan trustee.
SIMPLE WORKS: Guatemala Medical Mission
This impoverished community has long been in need of better health care. A group of U.S. doctors and Christians are responding to the need. When the hospital opens later this year it will have two operating rooms and enough regular rooms to administer on going high level care for the community.
Global Samaritan works directly with partners who know families and at-risk people by name. These partners are doing long-term sustainable work. Together we are making a big difference.
SIMPLE WORKS initiatives meet complex problems with simple solutions
- We are assisting two existing medical clinics that serve hundreds of people.
- We will hold three days of training sessions to certify nurses at the Adonai International Nursing School in basic life support.
We call it SIMPLE WORKS because it is simple and it works!
Working together a single SIMPLE WORKS shipment of food, Save Straws or medical supplies impacts people around the world. Our teams always go to serve and help in the name of Jesus.
One day I asked, “Why doesn’t somebody do something?”
Then I realized I am somebody.
