Throughout October and November, in partnership with the Abilene Fire Department and the Basic Needs Network, Global Samaritan collects new space heaters for those in our community whose homes lack a sufficient heat source, facing the upcoming winter months. Donors are encouraged to purchase a heat from a designated partner retailer and either deliver to one of several AFD Stations or leave it at the store to be collected by Global Samaritan for distribution.
